Semende Darat Ulu is a sub-district in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatera.
Located 1,500 meters above sea level in the Bukit Barisan plateau, The Semende or Semendo area, which is located on Mount Dempo, is also the territory of the Pasemah tribe, the native Semende people. For a long time, this area has been one of the coffee producing centers in South Sumatra, and until now Semendo coffee is still in demand by many coffee lovers.
